Summer 2015

October 12, 2015

It’s felt like a slow summer this year as a flare up meant that I couldn’t go to the studio.  But somehow when I put it all together I’ve done quite a lot – all small, all on paper, mostly experimenting with Inktense colour sticks on A7 Khadi paper and tiny squares of watercolour paper that I bought from the Wookey Hole shop years ago and forgot about. Photos coming.

Oh yes and pics from Bees Knees now yearly open studio week at Walcot Chapel.

getting ready

The before and during.  This year I shared a balcony in St Marks with Jonathan Dixon – good company and cost me in plates, stickers and tattoos.  I like his work.  This year I included some of my writing for the first time which felt a little scary but the feedback was good.  Usually it sits at home unread.  I don’t seem to have many photos, possibly because I was chatting and eating cake.
